Package bee order ship dates are tentatively set. A change in ship dates can occur due to factors outside of our control which include unfair weather conditions. Dadant has the right to rearrange scheduled dates should this occur. Any listed dates are subject to change. Package bees will be shipped to your local post office of your billing address on your order by the United States Postal Service using their Priority Mail service. Your package bee shipment must be picked up at your local post office. It is your responsibility to verify the hours of operation of your local Post Office prior to delivery to ensure your bees are picked up within the Post Office’s hours of operation on the day of delivery.
You must receive the shipment of bees whether they are alive or dead. If there are more than 2 inches of dead bees on the bottom of the package and/or the queen arrives dead, you must send your order number and a picture of the dead bees and/or dead queen and a picture of the label to support@dadant.com within 24 hours of receipt. We cannot issue a replacement shipment of the dead bees unless we receive the pictures within the 24-hour period after delivery. Package bee orders are prepaid. Orders are subject to a $20 change or cancellation fee after the prepayment has been processed. Orders must be cancelled by phone 14 days before shipping date.
